No. 42 in the cult series of sonic backgrounds for radio, television and cinema. Sophisticated mood music by the legendary MP 2000 series composer with Dave Sucky at the controls :) Exotic and futuristic drama cues with emphasis on percussion in a psychedelic - experimental - ambient lounge setting. Sounds like a beautiful mix of Cults Percussion Ensemble, Edwin Astley jazz and Armando Sciascia space age exploitation. Features several fantastic themes. Our soundclip opens with the modal jazz beat of "Flock" then "Post Scriptum" / "African Dream" / "Slav Song" / "Composition Alpha" / "Soundbox" / "Systeme Binare" / "Ballet Dans Les Cosmos" and more! Shimmering glockenspiel bells / rain & wind FX / Nilovic on piano / afro drums / jungle noises / vibraphone / subtle electronics / dub delay / oriental motifs / bongo breaks and hypnotic beats. A fine example of French Library exotica. Themes like "L'ocean" and "Un Piano Dans L'espace" are longer compositions, like a minimal soundtrack for an art gallery show. The recording was distributed in Italy via Canopo and was later released as an Italian Library on Flower (the mysterious Flipper sub label ;) Great for leftfield DJs. Disc cut loud with big production sound. Striking sleeve artwork with UFO shaped cymbals

Mp3 created via a Vestax portable with protective slipmat and basic Audacity software but records always sound much better on a proper hi-fi system ;)
