Original French pressing on TELE MUSIC label (TM 3009) from 1969. Psychedelic pop masterpiece from France :) Features several outstanding themes for DJs. Hip arrangements a la Bernard Estardy La Formule Du Baron cum Swinging London's Andrew Loog Oldham Orchestra with killer jazz waltz / groovy fuzz / scat harmony / bossa and funky lounge by a crack studio group. The drummer on here was Pierre-Alain Dahan for sure ;) Maverick sounding and addictive themes galore. A fabulous studio production with creative instrumentation. Lots of funky drums and basslines / flute / fuzzbox and jazz guitar / gothic and mod hammond / counterpoint female voices / vibraphone and exotic percussion. Our soundclip opens with the incredible jazz waltz breaks of LA NUIT EST UNE FETE followed by the fuzz guitars, beats and hippie flute of MUSIC BAZAAR / the seductive vocal waltz LE SOLEIL SUR LA PEAU and psychedelic pop themes FANTASMAGORIES / POP PERCUSSIONS / POP REVOLUTION and SOLEIL LUNAIRE. The other amazing themes we have recorded include the oriental pop fuzz and break-beats of MITSUKO / the wordless baroque waltz TROIS PAS SUR LE SABLE and the '70s UK / British sitcom-esque BOSSA A GOGO with Tom Jones - Its Not Unusual motifs and Brazilian drum skills. NIRVANA is Balkan / Greek inspired folk lounge with sitar and YANCO'S THEME is a funky mod shake for the discotheque. The POP BAZAAR theme was comped by Jonny Trunk for The Music Library : Graphic Art And Sound book CD. Killer item. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) regardless of some areas of faint hairlines / faint scuffs. Light surface noises. A few soft pops / ticks (as you can hear on our soundclip). Booming production sound. The half laminated card sleeve is closer to M- condition overall with very light wear. Some light ring wear from storage. Minimal corner wear to front laminate. A few small wear marks / tiny nicks to top edge of back sleeve. Old sticker residue mark to top right corner of back sleeve. Sharp looking item. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo.
