Description

Janos Starker plays Zoltan Kodaly Sonata for Solo Cello OP8, long considered the definitive recorded performance of this difficult work. The 12" 33RPM mono LP has no spindle trails, maroon and silver labels very clean, LP fully play graded with Denon DL-103 FLS. There was no distortion or other pressing noise, excellent mono sound, lot of light surface marks cause lot of mostly light odd tics graded VG. Perfectionist should look elsewhere. Motivated listeners looking for a good playing copy can bid with confidence. Red cover jacket has lot of wear, bottom right split, spine worn top and bottom, corner crunch and much other wear. Cover is not bad, graded G+. Considering the 65 years of age of this copy it's quite good.
