Cellist Janos Starker plays Kodaly: Sonata for Unaccompanied Cello, Opus 8 – Rare early FLAT Deep Groove heavy US Pressing Mono LP on Period SPLP 510 with Green and Silver label – The cover is in strong VG+ condition with only some age stains and some light discoloration. Partial split seam on 3 sides. The record is in EXC condition visually. Auditioned as VG++ to EXC- on my system with the usual Period surface noise. An exceptional copy. The cello plays clean and undistorted.

The record is in VG condition with some light surface hairlines and few light surface scratches and plays with some not too distracting background soft ticks, and is still enjoyable to listen to. The cello plays clean and undistorted. There is a very small scratch on the beginning of side 1 which causes repetitive ticks for few turns.
