Description

BERT JANSCH AND JOHN RENBOURN TOGETHER ON VINYL FROM 1966  - "BERT AND JOHN" ON TRANSATLANTIC TRA 144.   

I have listened to the disc and I am very happy to describe it as in EXCELLENT CONDITION (Record Collector grades).

THE DISC.  SIDE ONE - visually clear although there are some of those wee marks that indicate a disc has been played a good deal. However, the SIDE plays immaculately. I have no flaws in sound quality to report. SIDE TWO - Looks good and plays perfectly!  No other comment to offer here.

THE COVER.  I'd say it's between GOOD and VERY GOOD; I want to say it's nearer VG but I reckon the flaws below keep it below Excellent. Generally speaking it has held its shape well (very well for a 52 year-old!) BUT.......There is some ring wear on both front and back,. not serious unless you catch the light, BUT on the upper arc on the front  - right at the top of the arc - the wear has JUST pierced the surface of the sleeve material. There is also a very small amount of wear on the top edge - indicating that it has spent the decades upside down. 

I have done  my best to capture the flaws in the cover in the pix but my camera (or maybe my photographic skills) are not quite up to the task.
