"Great Music" Radio Show Transcription Disc Produced By The Armed Forces Radio Service. Two Complete 15 Minute Radio Programs On This 16 Inch, Vinyl, 33 1/3 RPM Disc. This disc was issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public, very rare!
"Great Music" radio program #63 hosted by Walter Huston. Music includes "Southern Roses" (Johann Strauss), "Estrellita" (Manuel Ponce) played by Jascha Heifetz, "Final Movement Of Violin Concerto" (Henryk Wieniawski). 15 minutes
"Great Music" radio program #64 hosted by Walter Huston. Music includes "Land Of The Sky Blue Water" (Charles Wakefield Cadman), "Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child" vocal Marian Anderson, "The Swallows Of Capistrano" (Meredith Willson)
Disc is in Excellent- condition with Excellent- sound, beautiful disc!
Please note that 16 inch transcription discs will not play on most standard turntables due to their size. For $10 I can make a CD copy of the disc for the buyer only
