This Auction is for:

ARTIST:  Jascha Heifetz – Classical Violinist

TITLE: …Playing The Music Of Gershwin – Selections from “Porgy And Bess” and 3 Preludes.

LABEL:  Decca DLP-7003 – a 10 inch Mono LP

YEAR:  Late-Forties or Early-Fifties

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN:  USA

COVER CONDITION:  VG+ or better – This Cover is solid, no Seam Splits, and has minimal wear.

 LP CONDITION:  VG+ or better– a beautiful old 10 inch Vinyl LP. The labels are beautiful, no wear or scuffing. This disc will play wonderfully.

BONUS – INVENTORY MARKER:  I will include an Inventory Marker used by the original retailer. This item is dated Sep 29 1949 & Aug 1 1950 and includes the notation that this is “Decca LP 7003”. The Marker also has the number 33359 stamped on it and this number matches the number stamped on the back of the Album Cover. Apparently, this Marker was provided by RCA Victor, whose Logos also appear on the Marker. Please refer to my scan of this Marker.
