The Boston Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Edvard Munch and featuring Jascha Heifetz on violin - Mendelssohn: Concerto in E-Minor, Op.64 and Prokofieff: Concerto No. 2 in G-Minor, Op. 63 - RCA Victor LSC-2314 (6s/4s stampers) original deep groove first pressing of legendary classical stereo lp from 1959, known for its diaphanously beautiful string tone, superior low end dynamics and very deep bass. Record is Near Mint; cover is VG+ (mild discoloration on rear). Heifetz's spotlit violin has great middle register body, tone and overall focus; and his performance must be heard to be believed (the staccato bowing is amazing). Engineered by John Crawford. Nice!
