Jason Crest - 'A Place in the Sun / Black Mass' - scarce and I think quite sought after 1969 single on the Philips label - BF 1809.

Visually the record appears to have only a few faint marks apart from a more lengthy but superficial possible scuff mark to side 2 (Black Mass). The vinyl retains a good lustre. Having said this however there is surface noise which is noticeable in quieter passages - in my view listening enjoyment is not greatly impaired. The vocals also sound perhaps a little 'tinny' / distorted in one or two places during 'A Place in the Sun'.

Not excellent therefore but in my view remaining a perfectly acceptable listen. I should emphasise that although there is some surface noise this does not incorporate scratches or any 'jumping' or 'sticking'. 'A Place in the Sun' I would grade strictly as G+. 'Black Mass' has a greater sound quality and I would certainly grade as a clear VG.

Comes with Philips Company sleeve - just a little grubby but without any serious defects - qualifies as VG++ I think.
