Year – 1977
Super funky bossa album by Jayme Marques, sought after most notably for it’s ultra tight bass driven FIFTY FIFTY. Its scat-over-moog short solo is amazing. Gentes e Coisas da Bahia, Hooked on Green and Stop are also funky, with great Rhodes and clavinet play and fantastic vocal arrangements. The other tracks are nice, more traditional bossa numbers. Has been seen selling for over 80 quid in the UK! Record comes from my collection. After So Much Feeling (for Veracruz), Marques' most sought after LP and much harder to find!
CONDITION:
Cover/Label – VG+ (overall wear, some marks and creases. A bit flimsy. Two pen marks on tracklist in back cover. Labels are clean)
Record – EX (close to NM, only a couple of light hairmarks, plays perfect)
