Description
RARE and hot early Duke Ellington,, here billed on OKEH 8675 as "The Chicago Footwarmers" on sessions recorded in 1927 "Chicago Stomp Down", (which features JABBO SMITH on trumpet and ADELAIDE HALL vocalizing), and 1928, "Goin' To Town"(with BUBBER MILEY in place as the trumpet soloist) Record looks E with scuffing and light scratches which don't amount to much, plays Strong E to almost E+ like most of these laminated OKehs do. A little better-looking, and the opening bid would exceed a hundred dollars. Opening price very reasonable for this rare 78, check out popsike to verify. You will not be sorry you got this record. Bidders please wait for correct shipping rates with invoice. International bidders please note that I cannot mark packages sent as gifts. Thanks and good luck.
