Hello everyone,
I have twenty seven Jazz 78s for auction.
The artists are Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbeck, Horace Henderson, Earl Hines, King Oliver, Jack Teagarden, Freddy Keppard, Jimmy Noone, Charlie Barnet, Jimmy Lunceford, Clarence Williams, Bunk Johnson, Bob Crosby, Wingie Manone with the glorious titled," Stop the War -
- The Cats are Killing Each Other " and lasty, but not least the fabulous voice of Teddy Grace singing " Downhearted Blues " with more than a touch of Bessie Smith's growl.
I've grouped the records together to enable you to see the titles but with only 12 photos available I'm not able to let you see the condition of the whole of the discs because they would be too far away to fit everything in and to show the imperfections.
The discs are not mint but they are in very good condition without any major faults to lessen your listening enjoyment.
Apart from a few marks that may seem as if they would sound on replay, they do not. Most of the marks are minor or just non-sounding surface scuffs.
I'm attempting to be as honest as possible as I would not like to deceive the buyer and by doing so, it may appear the discs are not that good. It's better to be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.
I am listing more Jazz records now or in the coming days that may be of interest.
