Description

 Up for your consideration is a two disc 78 set "Jazz a la Creole" (Circle Records Album S-13). The records are visually in E condition retaining great luster and only showing the slightest signs of play. The play-grade is probably E-/V+ due to light surface noise that I assume is due to pressing quality. The music is outstanding and never overwhelmed by noise. The incredible line-up on these side is as follows: Albert Nichols, Danny Baker, James P. Johnson and Pops Foster. All four sides were recorded on June 12, 1947.

The four sides contain the songs: Creole Blues,  Les Ognons,  Mo Pas Lemme Cas and Salee Bame.


The album is in really good shape. The cover art is nice and clear and the spine is totally intact. Some chipping around the edges of the front and back cover. The previous owner affixed a flap to the back cover to protect the top of the disc when stored (see photo). Not a bad idea really.

A very nice album of good play copies for your collection, at a low starting bid.

Shipping is $5.00 Media Mail (NOT THE $4.00 STATED ABOVE). Although I don't require insurance, I strongly recommend that you add it to your shipping cost. All discs are packaged in dedicated LP mailers with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap. Priority shipping can be arranged and a quote can be given at auction end. I DO NOT SHIP 78s INTERNATIONALLY. Sorry.
