Description
JAZZ - Bennie Moten's Kansas City Orchestra first record dated September 1923. A very hot record for such an early date. The tracks are A "Elephant's Wobble" and B "Crawdad Blues". The record is visually around VG, with needle wear and some greying, scrapes and scratches, more noticeable on Side B "Crawdad". Aurally, both sides play far better than appearance, with steady background crackle and pops and light distortion . On "Crawdad" there are a couple of marks which lead to two momentary loud screeches, just for a second or two. Music is very loud and clear both sides over background and it is generally easy to listen to the record. A rare and very valuable record in top condition; even in this rather worn state is eminently collectable.
