This is a great 1950's Jazz Album. I not knowledgeable in grading records or sleeves so I am including very accurate pictures for the best description. I obtained the record and a couple of songs had hiccups and pops so I cleaned it very well and recorded it. My last playing it went through fine with no hiccups and I got some great recordings. There are some pops in the old record and it has been played. The jacket is worn and there is no sleeve, so again please see the pictures. The record is not as shiny as some of the records I have recorded and I have tried to picture where there are some type of mars but they did not bother the playing. The back of the jacket is dirty and their are stains on both sides. Also, sadly, the owner put his name one side of the record label and the jacket (darn that Mike). I think this is a good record and a jacket that could use some help, but a good record person may have a way to clean them and make them better. Roach and Brown are fantastic and Harold Lamb is about one of the best tenor saxes I have ever heard. Too bad about the car wreck and plane crash. I am selling the record and jacket "as is" and I have given you my best account. Ask questions at anytime. Thank you for looking. I think it's a great old record.
