BARNEY KESSEL - "On Fire" LP (Emerald 1201, mono, 1965) in STILL SEALED condition.
- Condition/Description: From the "Emerald" label subsidiary of Phil Spector's Philles Records comes one of the greatest EXOTICA/JAZZ crossover albums of all time, Barney Kessel's "On Fire" LP, and this copy is STILL SEALED. Great cover, great jazz guitar (if only my playing had this affect on the opposite sex). The record is NEAR MINT under tight, clean shrink-wrap - no dinged corners or other damage (please see both photos below). Barney is backed by Jerry Scheff on bass and Frank Capp on drums and the tunes are: "Slow Burn", "Just in Time", "The Shadow of Your Smile", "Recado Bossa Nova", "Sweet Baby", "Who Can I Turn To" and "One Mint Julip".
