THE VINYL :  EX :  Lightly played with moderate spindlewear, both sides of the LP retain much of their original gloss with bright labels. Present on both sides are a few light marks, including some sleevewear from the original inner sleeve and some hairlines. There are no deep marks.
 
In all, the record has been carefully handled and produces a strong mono audio.



THE COVER :  EX+ :  The covers that were issued by the American Recording Society Jazz Division Series were somewhat unconventional. From the photos, you can see that the cover consists of a piano keyboard around the edges of a colorful, heavy plastic sleeve with the LP opening at the top. Inside the sleeve is a 4 page booklet / insert that serves as "liner notes".  While the booklet has three hole punch marks for a conventional ring binder, the plastic sleeve does not have those holes.

This "Cover" has been carefully stored and is in great condition. The plastic sleeve is intact with no tears, holes or missing portions, no writing, dirt or stains. The booklet is in the same condition, with a faint amount of age-related fading.

NM-: RECORD HAS LITTLE OR NO INDICATION THAT IT HAS BEEN PLAYED.

EX: MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE (LIGHT SCRATCHING/PAPER SCUFFS), BUT IN ALL A RECORD THAT HAS BEEN WELL-CARED FOR.

VG+: LESS CARE THAN EX, LIGHT SCRATCHING OR SCUFFING IS MORE EXTENSIVE. STILL VERY PLAYABLE & WILL LIKELY PROVIDE A QUALITY SOUND.
