LES BAXTER LP AFRICAN BLUE (GNP Crescendo Records GNPS 2047 c/o)
Neatly cut bb hole cut-out mark in upper right corner. Upon purchase, the owner placed the disc in a plastic inner sleeve and left virtually no signs that the records was ever played! superior-sounding bossa nova/jazz/funk/exotica/pop. Great song: "Johannesburg Blues." Clare Fischer piano, "James" Gordon & "Milton" Holland drums, Plas Johnson flute King Errison congas & many other players. Original U.S. stereo pressing in folding unipack cover on the red grooved GNP label. Really excellent crispy-looking cover & disc looks straight off the showroom floor. DISC - MINT
We give great importance to grading our items accurately. Very well cared for & stored long term in a plastic inner sleeve. No scratches, scuffs, warps, skips, streaking or residue on playing surface or dead wax. One inaudible quarter-inch fleck on side A, cut three which is hard to even see. No sign of warping. Retains a great surface gloss. No visible needle wear.
COVER - MINT
Cover has been well protected. It has no marks, scuffs, seam splits, ring wear, cut-out marks, writing, stickers, streaks, fading, cuts, bends, tears or color washout. Hardly any corner banging. No rubbing or speckles. Three barely visible one-inch semi-creases on front. Spine print is free of blemishes & is fully readable. Sharp print, rich color. Inside gatefold looks excellent. Label looks nearly perfect: no cuts, marks, tears, writing, abrasions, scuffs, fading or stickers. Sharp cut spindle hole with the faintest of spindle brushings.
