For sale is JAZZ IN THE CLASSROOM, Vol. VII featuring GARY BURTON, on Berklee BLP-7 MONO, 1962.
SOUND: VG+/NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound and overall playback is beautiful, very clean and sharp. There is only a very brief area in B1, "Bem-Basha," with soft tics, about 60-seconds worth. Very minor. Overall, a terrific listen!
VINYL: VG+ The vinyl is in great shape overall, just a few faint scuffs or hairline marks. All very routine, nothing "feel-able." The white/black labels are very clean and bright.
JACKET: VG+ The edges and spine are solid and in great condition. The corners, particularly the upper left, show some wear. The front is clean and beautiful condition, with a catalogue sticker upper left. The back very clean and bright, excellent with a "promo" stamp.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
