Description
THIS IS A GOLDEN 10.5 inch diameter ( originally gold plated) RECORD DISK with the inscription in the center of the disk:
"N.M.E. POLL 1955
PRESENTED TO RONNIE SCOTT & HIS ORCHESTRA
VOTED BRITAINS TOP SMALL ORCHESTRA
BY THE READERS OF THE
NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS"
It is set on a wooden and brass stand which as you can see looks like a micraphone. It has a plaque on the bottom inscribed:
"N.M.E"
The overall height of the disk and stand is 14.5 inches
THIS IS NOT ONLY A SERIOUS COLLECTORS ITEM BUT ALSO AN INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY
Naturally, the gold plating on the brass metal disk has discoloured in some arears which one can expect as it is 53 years old !!!
It can be easily disasembled if one requires it to be re gold plated.
