This is the 1959 Columbia Records original MONO pressing on the six-eye label by the one and only Miles Davis entitled " Kind of Blue " (CL1355). Considered one of the most famous jazz albums of all time, Miles is accompanied on the album by legendary jazz artists as Julian "Cannonball" Adderly (alto sax), Paul Chanbers (bass), James Cobb (Drums), John Coltrane (tenor sax), Bill Evans (piano) and Wynton Kelly (piano). 
The shiny vinyl reflects light scratches on each side that produces light surface noise most notable on slower passages. In addition, a few tracks include noticeable pops here and there. No skips or repeats have been noted. Overall, these defects mentioned generally do not overpower of the great jazz music. The labels are very clean on both sides without added writings but some spindle marks around the center hole. We rate this vinyl's overall condition as Very Good (VG) based on Goldmine standards. A padded inner sleeve (not original to the LP) is included. 
The outer jacket reflects some fading and ring wear on cover. The four corners have softening. The seams do not have splits or cracking and the side seam is most crisp and legible except for a stain where it reads " CL 1355". The back cover has some brownish staining on the left side and some faded ink writing in upper right margin pertinent to a past owner. The liner notes by Bill Evans are fully legible and it is noted that the photo of Miles on stool has fade spots (See Photos). We rate this outer jacket (sleeve) as Very Good (VG) using Goldmine standards. A new poly slip-on outer sleeve is included.
PLEASE NOTE: In view of the aforementioned condition issues we do not consider this LP album overall condition to be one that will be generally acceptable to the serious jazz vinyl collector. Please keep in mind the ratings used above are based on the Goldmine Record Album Guides and a VG condition is down the list quite considerably from what many vinyl collectors will desire or find acceptable. The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from jacket during shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket.
