Description

This is a hard to find 1977 self-titled LP by JAZZBERRY PATCH on JBP Records -3010.

CONDITION:  Record: Play-graded  VG+   good gloss, some light scuffs that do not affect play, sounds nice.           Cover:  VG   overall wear, some ring wear on front and back, top seam chewed up a bit - 2 1/2" split from spine corner and about 7 small nics toward the opening(see picture). Overall a decent cover.  Plain paper inner sleeve.

Ben Champion -- Soprano, Alto, Tenor & Baritone Saxophone & Flute.

Ken Burkhart  -- Organ, Clavinet, Moog Sythesizer, Strings & Vocals.

Danny Burger  -- Drums, Tubes & Percussion.

Also features some guest musicians including Mike Longo on Fender Rhodes Piano & Strings.

Good funky jams, especially the 20 min. Jazzberry Patch, which starts with a funky Clavinet sound similar to Stevie Wonder's Superstitious. Ken Burkhart also comes up with some cool wha-shaped synth solos.
