Here we have a classic old school hiphop record!

These beauties do not come around very often...

This triple vinyl LP pressing of Guru's Jazzmatazz, Vol. 1 is the debut solo studio album from Guru, one half of the hip-hop duo Gang Starr. Released on 18th May, 1993 on Chrysalis Records, this album is one of the first albums to combine a live jazz band with hip hop production and rapping. Live backing is provided by a band that includes Lonnie Liston Smith, Branford Marsalis, Ronny Jordan, Donald Byrd and Roy Ayers.

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this classic album, this deluxe edition which includes the original album, the instrumentals and a third bonus LP of rare remixes and a 12 page booklet that features rare images from the original Jazzmatazz photo shoot was produced........ The booklet included in this box set is super cool with some great photos of Guru........

All 3 records play through as they should on my 1210's - the hard box cover and sleeves are in good shape - there is a bit of corner wear as you would expect to see from storage...... The actual records are all still in good condition.

There are a few marks on the back of the hard box cover as I have tried to show in one of the photos......

Please remember that this is not a mint brand new record, it has been played!

Please do remember how rare this box set actually is - I will take sensible offers on this item too....
