-AT A GARAGE SALE I CAME ACROSS THESE OLD JAZZ LPS IN DOING A LITTLE RESEARCH I FOUND SOME ARE RARE. IN THE PICTURES I HAVE TAKEN I TRIED TO GROUP THEM. THERE ARE 8 BLUE NOTE LPS WITH THE LEXINGTON STREET ADDRESS THEY ARE IN THE GROUP WITH JOHN COLTRANE (BLUE TRAIN) AT THE TOP, HOWEVER THAT IS THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES NOT LIST THE STREET ADDRESS.ALL OF THE COVER SHOW WEAR SOME MORE THAN OTHERS BUT ALL THE VINYL LOOKS GREAT. THE GENTELMAN WHO OWNED THEM WAS IN THE SERVICE AND CARRIED THEM ALL OVER.I DONT SELL RECORDS SO I AM LISTING THEM IN 1 LOT.AGAIN THE RECORDS ARE BETTER THAN THE COVERS. The eight original Blue Note LP's are: Bird in Flight Blue Note 4048 Donald Byrd; Blue Note 1534 Paul Chambers; Blue Note 1559 Johnny Griffin; Blue Note 1578 Lee Morgan; Blue Note 1574 Hank Mobley & Lee Morgan; Blue Note 1518 Horace Silver; Blue Note 1531 Fats Navarro; Blue Note 4063 Whistlestop. Again, these have the street address.
The following are Blue Notes: Blue Notes New York; Blue Note 84130 John Patton; 1509 Milt Jackson; 84220 Horace Silver; Blue Note 1595 Cannonball Adderley; Blue Train w/John Coltrain Blue Note BST1577-it's Blue Note (division of Liberty Records).
