THE BOSS MUSIC VOLUME 1 KITTEN KIND - FRENCH LIBRARY Lp by J.C. PIERRIC. Original French pressing on SOLEIL MASQUE label (SMA 33001), from circa 1970. Killer Library by the cult composer. Groovy, psychedelic small combo sound with very funky beats and breaks. Superb French pop jazz / hippie lounge / baroque funk with fuzz distortions / flute / e-piano / hammond / wah wah / funky congas / fender bass / jazzy vibraphone a la Dany Doriz and cool horn section. Really infectious arrangements. Great for DJs. For us, superior mood music to the Claude Dauray Pop In Pop and William Stanray Les Sparkles Library. Pierric was also the mastermind behind Godchild and Harlem Pop Trotters too. A real period piece with inspired Mozart / biker artwork sleeve featured in the Johnny Trunk book - The Music Library (Graphic Art And Sound). Our soundclip opens with the break from ROLLY ROCK followed by several other themes including MANDAI GARDENS / SEA BY NIGHT / KEELSON / OLD CITY DREAMS and KITTEN KIND. Very rare Library!!! Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition with a few light scuffs and hairlines. Light surface noises. Some soft pops. Distribution sticker to both sides of label. The laminated sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M- overall). Some light ring dirt marks to back sleeve. Minimal edge or corner wear, if any. Camera Flash glare to sleeve and label photos. Very rare Library!!!
