The Ultimate Prophecy LP - J.D. BLACKFOOT (Mercury SR 61288)
Original 1968 U.S. PROMO stereo LP. EXCELLENT debut album by this Midwest dude, who managed to have a long, under-the-radar musical career. The record has 2 distinct musical styles - first side is in a folk-rock/Buffalo Springfield-like vein while side 2 features hard rock/psych in a 'song cycle,' all tracks connected by a lyrical/spiritual link. Both work equally well, at least to these ears. Vinyl in SUPER condition, plays AWESOME. Includes original slick lyric insert.
Disc = EX+ to NEAR MINT- (GLOSSY - downgraded due to a couple of tiny, faint hairlines on side 2 - hard-to-see & NOT AFFECTING PLAY AT ALL - disc sounds TERRIFIC, w/ NO distortion & virtually NO background noise to speak of; record has probably been played a handful of times, at the very most - a GREAT listen)
Cover = see pix; tiny diagonal crack in front upper left corner; promotional stamp on back; lite cracking & chip in both corners on top edge; very lite cracking on bottom edge; just barely the slightest of wear on spine; any questions?, please ask
