Up for sale is one unique copy of Jean Cocteau's 'Le Testament d'Orphée' -
signed
("à Roger de Vincent de loin avec le meilleur souvenir de Jean Cocteau")
by the writer/artist himself inside the box!
If you're reading this, you'll probably know how rare this piece of art is -
and with such a dedication, it's truly impossible to find.
ORIGIN:
This particular copy comes from the illustrious collection of
the late founder of the Académie Charles Cros (Grand Prix du Disque), Mr. Roger Vincent.
CONDITION (conservative grading)
The vinyl grades visually VG+ to VG++. labels are clean. Protected in the original inner sleeve. The box has some small stain-spots on front (see pic) - beside that it's clean. The upper and lower seam have both one small damage (not a big issue at all), while the spine is intact. The small paper with the dedication inside shows also some glue-traces (it's been a while since it was fixed inside...). I grade the box VG++ .
