E.V.A. / SOUL CITY / GOSSIPO PERPETUO / PASSPORT TO THE FUTURE ... 7-inch, 33rpm EP single by JEAN JACQUES PERREY. Original Brazilian pressing on the VANGUARD label (3637), from 1973. Cult, synthesizer mayhem from the influential Moog Indigo session by the French electronics pioneer with group. Futuristic funk / pop electronique on the incredible E.V.A. theme with insane moog sounds / psychedelic guitars and fuzz distortions / aggressive B-boy cum hip hop drums / treat voices / hammond organ / dub bassline / tubular bells and killer breaks. Outstanding production sound. Great for DJs. This is the Brazilian-only and desirable 4 track EP issue with laminated picture sleeve featuring the same iconic artwork as his Moog Indigo Lp. The single also includes the funky jerk theme, SOUL CITY (written by Pat Prilly aka the daughter of Perrey) and the electronic samba with latin percussion / demented male scat vocals and synthetic rhythms of GOSSIPO PERPETUO. His oddball spaghetti western inspired PASSPORT TO THE FUTURE is also on here, so you get all the best Perrey themes on thumping 7-inch format :) Lots of loops and samples. Super-hard to find in top condition, like this copy. Very rare EP!!! 

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with some hairlines and a couple of mini scuffs. Some light surface noises. A few soft pops / soft ticks. One side of label has an old sticker residue mark. The laminated picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with some ring wear and ring creasing from storage. Sharp corners and edges. Old sticker residue mark to back sleeve. Very rare EP!!!
