Jean-Claude Vannier "L'enfant assassin des mouches" (Suzelle JR 9414)
Mega-rare and always in demand original french pressing of this killer 1972's avant-garde/proggish Jean-Claude Vannier LP!!!
This is THE record everybody's been looking for since Finders Keepers reissue some years ago.
No need to introduce this fantastic record, recorded by the man behind Serge Gainsbourg's Melody Nelson himself.
Condition:
The sleeve has some yellowing on edges and a bit of stain on front (see scan). Plus, you can notice the original "Stereo total" sticker on top right hand corner. Besides that, the beautiful textured sleeve has no ringwear, no writing, no seam splits, no tears... but all in all, mainly because of the stain mentioned on the front of the cover, I would grade it as Vg+ (though it could be considered by other dealers much better than that).
The labels are in Excellent condition.
The record has some light marks due to removing the record from the sleeve and, if examinated under a strong light, a few scuffs on both sides. Visually, I would also grade it as Vg+. It has been since cleaned on a VPI machine and the good news is that all of these don't affect play. I would grade this audio as Excellent from the beginning until the end!!!
