Condizioni : la copertina, frontalmente laminata, mostra nel lato posteriore l’impronta lasciata dalla rimozione di un piccolo sticker circolare molto vicina all’angolo superiore destro. Per il resto un pò di ring wear maggiormente visibile sul retro; grande stato, EX+ / il vinile ha alcuni segni minori che non condizionano il perfetto ascolto; grande stato, EX+

Condition : laminated cover on the front shows in the back side the mark left by the removal of a small circular sticker very close to the upper right corner. For the rest some ring wear more easily visible on the back / vinyl has some some minor scuffs which do not affect play, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

In questa colonna sonora la sua musica elettronica ha una dimensione melodica che pur non rifuggendo da una continua sperimentazione sonora illustra perfettamente le immagini e la storia del film e cosa più importante a sorprendere emotivamente l'ascoltatore. Non per nulla il suo terzo album "Oxygène" avrà un successo mondiale. Tornando alla colonna sonora è da sottolineare immediatamente la sublime fusione tra i romantici e seducenti vocalizzi femminili e le sonorità emesse dai sintetizzatori analogici ed effetti sonori in "La Chanson des Granges Brulées" (a1) e nell'ultima traccia "Générique" (b8). Da questo tema Jarre elabora sofisticate variazioni esclusivamente strumentali utilizzando le più svariate apparecchiature elettroniche: dal mellotron alla drum machine. Mi piace ricordare "L'helicoptère" (a3) tema romantico con il rumore delle pale dell'elicottero in sottofondo, "Le Juge" (a6) caratterizzato dal suono solenne dell'organo e "La Perquisition et les Paysans" (b3) con organo e sintetizzatori che riescono a ben esprimere la drammaticità della scena del film.

Notes : second album of Jean-Michel Jarre. In this soundtrack his electronic music has a melodic dimension which, although not rejecting a continuous sound experimentation succeeds to beautifully depict the pictures and the story of the movie and the most important thing to amaze the listener emotionally. Not for nothing his third album "Oxygene" will have a worldwide success. Going back to the soundtrack it should be underlined immediately the sublime fusion between the romantic and seductive female vocalizations and the sonorities emitted by analog synthesizers and sound effects in "La Chanson des Granges Brûlées" (a1) and the last track "Générique"(b8). From this theme Jarre develops sophisticated and exclusively instrumental variations using a large variety of electronic equipment: from mellotron to the drum machine. I like to remember "The helicoptère" (a3) romantic theme with the sound of helicopter blades in the background, "Le Juge" (a6), characterized by the solemn sound of the organ and "The Perquisition et les Paysans" (b3) with organ and synthesizers which have the creative ability to reflect perfectly the dramatic nature of the movie scene.
