'Luxurious' is how this heavy vinyl pressing can be described. It's the unique and identifiable guitar strokes that Jeff was renowned for, as always progressing in instrumental prowess beyond .....well, anyone else's normal capabilities on the electric guitar - the Fender Stratocaster to be more exact.
He really redefined what could be expressed, with a Strat in his hands! Command and control, infinitely beautiful and sensitive. With a few brilliant captivating instrumental pieces, then he's joined by nice guest vocalists for half the tracks.
I saw him a few times since the early 70s, and it's difficult to quantify what Mr Beck had meant to our generation and the styles he played with.
Modest all the while, ever involved and enthusiastic as a player - he has been seen as the most proficient player, and the high bar for achievement since Jimi Hendrix.
Here he has presented power, passion, blues (....to make the air stop still!).
Anyway I imagine I'm preaching to the converted here - so take a look at the details of this fine album, in great condition. Sadly there'll be no more music from Jeff Beck, only to revel in the wonderful music he made over the decades.
CONDITION;
The disc is MINT.
There is little sign of any playing.
Lables are NM.
The solid card GATEFOLD COVER is NM-, due only to a lower seam stress from the heavyweight disc (which will be removed for posting).
A wonderful and unique collectors item!
