Condition
When describing the condition I use the ‘Record Collector Magazine Grading Guide’ and I play-check the album too.  I also try to provide good quality large pictures of the album, so you can assess the condition for yourself.  The pictures should speak for themselves.

Vinyl  |  Near Mint
The album has only been played once or twice and is still in near mint condition.  Even in bright daylight it is almost impossible to see any marks or flaws on the four playing surfaces - just one very small superficial mark on side A, which has absolutely no adverse affect on playback quality.  The pressing is first-class.  Nice and clear and with absolutely no discernible deterioration in sound quality.  I think it would be hard to find a better example of this original 1978 first pressing.

Cover Sleeve  |  Near Mint
The cover sleeve is also in near mint condition, with just the slightest age-related darkening and a tiny bit of creasing to the corners and that is about all.  In all other respects it's almost as good as the day it was bought.

Booklet  |  Near Mint
The 16-page colour booklet is also in near mint condition.  There is some very slight signs of handling and a bit of age-related darkening, and that it all.

*The reason this album is in such good condition is that it was a 'spare' copy.  It has only ever been played once or twice and has been stored in a protective plastic sleeve since new.  I don't think it has ever needed to be cleaned either.*

Authenticity of this album (catalogue number and other identifiers)
This copy is identifiable as the 1978 UK first pressing because it bears the catalogue number CBS 96000; has "MADE IN ENGLAND" on the disc labels and was cut by renowned British Mastering Engineer, Denis 'BilBo' Blackham.  The disc labels also do not have label codes, side durations, or S CBS 96000 printed on them.

Cat Ref: CBS 96000 is printed on the spine of the record sleeve, with 96000 on the back and also on the disc label.  The disc labels also have S CBS 82671 / S CBS 82672 printed on them.

Postage
I take care to package records properly in rigid cardboard mailers designed for the purpose and with extra protection given to the albums, so they should arrive to you in the same condition they were sent.

I do combine postage, so if you buy more than one album please don't pay until you receive an eBay invoice from me.

You have the choice of postage service and the level of insurance protection.  Please choose a postal service (and level of cover) from the table below.  The default postage option is Royal Mail Small Parcel Economy, which comes with £20.00 cover against loss or damage in transit, and if you elect to pay with this default postage selected then please understand I cannot accept any additional liability.  If you would prefer the Standard or Signed service please send me a message before paying and I will send you an adjusted eBay invoice.

These postage charges are the cheapest I can provide.  I do not charge for packaging etc. they are just the actual cost of postage with eBay's 10% commission on top.
