Description

JELLY ROLL MORTON "NEW ORLEANS MEMORIES" General discs 4001-4005, circa 1940.
General 4001 - "MAMIE'S BLUES"/"ORIGINAL RAGS" General 4002 - "MICHIGAN WATER BLUES"/"THE NAKED DANCE" General 4003 - "BUDDY BOLDEN'S BLUES"/"THE CRAVE" General 4004 - "WININ' BOY BLUES"/"MISTER JOE" General 4005 - "DON'T YOU LEAVE ME HERE"/"KING PORTER STOMP"
Discs have all maintained a strong luster shine. Discs all have a slight slick feel to them perhaps due to original owner cleaning them with some obscure shellac cleaning fluid. Discs are generally all in VG condition, with some minor visible light surface/hairline scuff, a few tiny light scratches. Some audible crackle at times, dynamic shellac sound helps keep crackle in background.
