der besten je remasterten LP's überhaupt. LP mußte wegen Lizenzproblemen aus dem Vertrieb genommen werden.
Nur wenige Exemplare sind weltweit im Umlauf !
Eine letzte Chance diese Mastertape Aufnahme noch zu bekommen.
Wer sie gehört hat, wird sie nicht wieder vom Plattenspieler nehmen.

Endlich ist der High-End-Klassiker da: ..... als 33-rpm-Version, gemastert von Bernie Grundman. Für Freunde des audiophilen Musikgenusses ist dieses großartig aufgenommene Album mit seinen dichten und detailreichen Arrangements und Sounds ohnehin ein Meilenstein. Jennifer Warnes, die seit Anfang der 70er mit Cohen, dem großen kanadischen Singer-Songwriter, als Background-Sängerin und Arrangeurin auf Tour und im Studio gewesen war, und auch zu seinen engsten Freunden gehörte, präsentiert hier ihre ganz eigene, groovende und zupackende Perspektive auf Cohen-Klassiker wie „Bird On A Wire“, „First We Take Manhattan“ (mit einem grandiosen Gitarrensolo von Gaststar Stevie Ray Vaughan), „A Singer Must Die“ oder „Joan Of Arc“, bei dem Cohen selbst als Duett-Partner in Erscheinung tritt. Eine geniale Scheibe, die man sich nicht entgehen lassen darf!

Was wurde nicht alles schon über "Famous Blue Raincoat" geschrieben, keine Zeile ist für dieses Meisterwerk aus dem Jahre 1986 zuviel, besonders wenn man über eine Vinylversion sprechen darf, die jedem Analogliebhaber Freudentränen entlockt. Gnadenlos schön klingt diese Platte. Ob nun das Titelstück „Famous Blue Raincoat“ oder das unglaubliche Duett mit Leonard Cohen „Joan Of Arc“ zum Highlight dieser LP erklärt werden soll, ist sicherlich eine Frage des persönlichen Geschmackes.

There are none cracks in the Cover, ..... none of seams are split or corners badly damaged. ..... sorry, ...... the cover has a dent .....  It is not a cut-out. (No saw marks or drill holes.) It is a completely original Pressing in USA. This analogeCLASSIC RECORDS - LP/RECORD is long out of print and is an extremely rare title.  This is one of the rarest titles to find, especially " FACTORY SEALED". This analoge CLASSIC RECORDS - LP/Record comes from my own personal collection and smoke-free environment. ......."
