Up for auction is an RARE, ORIGINAL PROMO COPY PRESS lp from the JEROME RICHARDSON SEXTET for the release Midnight Oil
Album was released on NEW JAZZ as 8205 in MONO

This is the original Purple label press Deep Groove / Microgroove on both sides pressing with "RVG" stamped in the dead wax/ run off groove area!!!

On back of album cover there is a purple-ish ink stamp print that reads "Not For Sale".
This same "Not For Sale" stamp is seen faintly on the SIDE A label.
This definitely notes it as an extremely rare PROMO copy, and was most likely one of the first copies pressed, giving it a top sound!

Condition:
Vinyl is in strong EX/VG++ (very close to NEAR MINT condition!!
(Side 1 grades as NM-, Side 2 grades as VG++ (close to Near Mint).
Play grades absolutely brilliantly with a minimal amount of surface noise!

Album Cover is also in stunning condition with top gloss/ laminate retention! No seam splits. Spine is in top form and readable.
Comes with its original factory rice paper inner sleeve, but is stored in protective audiophile lined sleeve!
Looks, sounds and plays great!!
