OUTLAND - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack LP Acetate Warner Brothers Records
Impossibly rare 1981 acetate for Jerry Goldsmith's "Outlands" soundtrack. Comes in generic sleeve with handwritten info plus cue/promo sheet. Please see note about condition below.
Condition (sleeve/vinyl): Side A is super clean, borderline EX condition, plays beautifully. Unfortunately the B-side has two U-shaped cracks in the playing surface which causes some clicks and skipping through the entirety of the first track and the first few seconds of the second track. Please see the last two photos. The rest of the tracks on side B are unaffected by this damage and play great.
GRADING:
NM (near mint) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape.
EX (excellent) means there is very little to no wear -- a small, inaudible surface mark on the vinyl or a small bend on the sleeve
VG+ (very good plus) means the record has minor wear -- sleeve creased and/or shows a slight ring impression, vinyl shows cosmetic signs of handling
VG (very good) means the sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has multiple small scratches but plays ok
VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy
G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips
