JERRY LEE LEWIS - GREAT BALLS OF FIRE / YOU WIN AGAIN  [SUN 281]

Here is an ORIGINAL SUN COPY of Jerry Lee's greatest song, released in 1957 on the Sun label. This copy is in a rare PICTURE SLEEVE.

I bought this record BRAND NEW! I  found it in a drug store in LA in the early '70s. (The price tag was put on by the drug store.) From the other records in the bin it looked like a warehouse had cleaned its shelves of unsold stock - there was a lot of that around that time, as anyone who visited Village Music in Mill Valley (San Francisco) will know!

I played it on a very high-end stereo system with a Shure cartridge and soon recorded it to cassette so that the record would be kept in pristine condition.

The record is in NEAR MINT - MINT condition. There are no marks or scratches on either side. The labels are PERFECT, with no marks or wear at all. It looks like a BRAND NEW record.

The sleeve is VVG - NEAR MINT. Along the side of the price tag is a tear running along the length of it. Othewise the label is perfect, with no marks or bends. The corners are all straight and the colours are strong. The paper hasn't faded or turned brown.
