WOW! A true original plum label LONDON LL2006 Mexico first press 'SUN' LP. The original MONO classic LP, 1st press 'plum' label which I have had exactly once - NOW! We're all accustomed to seeing the late 60s' and 70's and even 90's Mexican pressings of rock LP's, and in fact many of the mid-60's originals are truly rare and highly sought after. However, to come up with the true first pressing on London of Jerry Lee's Mexico edition SUN LP in nice shape is something almost unheard of. Here it is!

(I tried to translate for you where I can but I don't speak Spanish!) Liner notes and titles are all in Spanish, which is also something that went by the wayside in the 60's when titles and most liner notes began appearing in both Spanish and English, or in many cases only ENGLISH!
The cover is similar in construction to the UK Decca LP's, lightweight & flat without 'flip-back's', though it is not laminated. This copy has slight record storage impressionminor bottom seam shelf wear, 1" bottom right corner seam split, some 'age' to the left edge of the back cover, slight back cover soil ring, and a spot of wear at the logo on the upper right front corner. All graphics still clear and nice.
The LP itself is still in it's original onion-skin inner sleeve. The royal purple & silver print London 'ffrr' labels are both bright and clean, no writing, no stickers. The spindle trails at the center hole tell us that it's been played and enjoyed, but the still shiny clean playing surface tells us it has been cared for and not abused. This is a VERY nice copy of a truly rare pressing.
Overall a nice VG+ cover
SOLID VG++ or better LP.
Early Rock 'N Rollers and Jerry Lee fans take note! This is a PRIME PIECE for any serious collection.
