JERRY LEE LEWIS SIGNED 45 PROMO THE HAWK PHILLIPS LABEL This is a promo of this 45 which Jerry put out when his career was faltering due to his bad PR. I have always held that it was the Colonel, Elvis' manager, who tipped off the London press about Jerry's marriage to Myra because Jerry was kickin' ass like no one ever had. This signed 45 is a sad reminder of Jerry's downfall, but a rare item that was perhaps the lowest point of Jerry's career next to his public statement foisted upon him by Sam P, the Sun 301 record, and the Orion Duets LP. It has been kept lovingly in a frame and was signed by the king in exile- Mr. Jerry Lee Lewis. The reason I am selling my Lewis collection is because I live in a country that would rather control the hegemonic outcome of geopolitical events and make bombs to use on other countries than to take care of its people who are sick, injured, homeless, or in dire need of help. Sorry Jerry- we are really hurting or I would never sell any of these great pieces of memorabilia that you have graciously signed for my son and me over the years.
