JERRY SADOWITZ - GOBSHITE VINYL ALBUM EXCELLENT CONDITION
Given to me by Jerry when I worked at Malcolm Hardee’s Tunnel Club (he also gave me a signed & inscribed copy - 'this album is total shite' - but some b**tard stole it).
All profits from this sale will go to Guide Dogs for the Blind charity. Seems fair as I got it for free & they're the one group of people who will never see Jerry’s brilliant close up magic.
Barely played as I recorded it to cassette years ago & have now made an electronic copy. In excellent condition throughout.
Will be sent in a protective sleeve.
If you are reading this, you don’t need to be told just how good Jerry is. The best live comedian I've ever seen - & I saw almost all of them at the Tunnel Club, Up The Creek, Comedy Club & elsewhere. So many others adopted watered down versions of his approach & become far more successful - but he was the first & best. The nearest thing the UK had to a comedy genius in the 1980s.
Never got the chance to hear him tear into Trump & Johnson during his 2019 tour, which is one of the few real regrets I have. He outed Jimmy Savile years before anyone else - but sadly no-one was listening.
He still performs his close up magic occasionally - so if you get the chance, go see what he does. You will be amazed.
