💎 FACTORY SEALED | Presumed MINT Vinyl | Sharp NM- Jacket

The Golden-Era East Coast Masterpiece

When hip-hop purists discuss the absolute apex of mid-’90s boom-bap production, Jeru The Damaja’s Wrath of the Mathstands as an undisputed titan. Produced entirely during DJ Premier’s golden imperial phase (fresh off Gang Starr’s Hard to Earn and Jeru’s The Sun Rises in the East), this 1996 sophomore release represents hip-hop at its most unapologetic, intellectual, and sonically crushing.

Recorded and mixed at the legendary D&D Studios in New York, the album features Preemo’s most sinister, razor-sharp drum chops, vocal cuts, and head-nodding basslines on landmark tracks like "Ya Playin' Yaself," "Me or the Papes," "One Day," and "Revenge of the Prophet."

Finding an unplayed, true 1996 US first pressing in its original factory shrink wrap 30 years later is becoming nearly impossible.

Factory sealed and unplayed. The grooves are completely untouched, exactly as they left the pressing plant in 1996.

• Jacket: NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-)

The factory shrink wrap is tight, glossy, and fully intact across both panels. Exhibits microscopic corner softening and a tiny push at the tip of the upper-left corner due to natural three-decade factory shrink tension. The jacket lays completely flat. No ring wear, no seam splits, no promo hole punches, no saw marks, and no clipped corners. The spine is firm, legible, and undeformed.

(Please inspect the included high-resolution photos of all four edges and corners for your own inspection).

Shipping & Returns Policy

Professional Packaging

• Secure Handling: Your record will be shipped in a dedicated, heavy-duty cardboard mailer (LP or 45 specific) with extra cardboard stiffeners to prevent bending or crushing.

• Pro-Tip Protection: To prevent seam splits during transit, all opened records are shipped with the vinyl removed from the jacket (housed in its inner sleeve) and placed behind the jacket within a 4mil clear poly outer sleeve. (Note: For this factory-sealed item, it will be shipped sealed as manufactured, double-stiffened and heavily padded).

• 45s: 7" records are shipped with the same level of care in dedicated 7-inch mailers.

Fast & Tracked Shipping

• Handling Time: I ship within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment.

• 🚨 CONDITION POLICY: For opened records, returns are accepted if the item is returned in the same condition as sent. Any new scratches, sleeve scuffs, or damage to the jacket incurred while in the buyer's possession will void the full refund.
