This is the UK 2nd press of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice and starring Ian Gillan. This rare 1st press is complete with the original blue and purple Stereo MCA label, the original accompanying booklet, the original inner sleeves and Robert Stace gatefold sleeve.

The records are in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational high gloss and the grooves show no sign of heavy play, there are just a couple of wispy marks. On playing the sound is rich, vibrant and very clear throughout. The MCA labels are completely clean. The colour is bold and the text is sharp. There is NO spindle wear. The records are complete with the original inner sleeves.

The booklet is in superb Excellent condition.

The gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition. The colours are vivid and the text is sharp. the inside is extremely clean and bright and the pictures are sharp. There is just a little edge wear and a small front cover scuff. The whole sleeve is very solid and the heavy box spine is firm with clear text.
