Decca Records DSXA 7206--BOX SET

1970 sensational 2 LP Box Set release that spawned 2 stage shows on Broadway & The West End of NYC. All in fabulous condition, the set also includes the 22 page booklet (libretto) with all recording info and lyrics that tell the musical story of the last week in the life of Jesus Christ. Some of the great artists who appeared on the set are Ian Gillian, Murray Head, Yvonne Elliman, Victor Brox, Brian Keith, Mike D'abo, Tony Ashton, Madeline Bell and many more. Musicians included Neil Hubbard, Henry McCulloch, Chris Mercer, Peter Robinson and a mile long list of others who all contributed to the musical score of the set. Historic from the early days of the 1970's.
