Description
This is the original UK LP by JETHRO TULL, THICK AS A BRICK, 1972 Stereo on the green CHRYSALIS label CHR 1003, complete with inner sleeve and Unique Newspaper style gatefold foldout cover
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- 6 CHR 1003-A4 Side 2:- 10 CHR 1003 B-2U, 'PECKO' (Master cutter) is etched on side 2's run-off area
The original 1972 Unique UK textured fold-out gatefold cover is in VG+++ condition, nice and clean, all pages are there, held in by 2 staples, no rips, no tears, no unwanted writing or stains, their is wear to the spine, seams and corners (refer to pictures above), but the seams are solid, no seam splits, a very respectable cover, considering its fragilaty and soft textured finish
The vinyl is visually in MINT- condition, gleaming with all it's original shine and lustre, I have played both sides (very carefully!) and the vinyl plays EX+++ / MINT-!, only a hint of very light crackle to be heard, Side 2, track 1, disapperas in 3-4 seconds, the vinyl plays with super clean crisp clarity!, the Stereo is what only can be described as MAGNIFICANT!!!, playing with lovely rich tones and depth, a wonderful sounding record!, top quality audio!, a sheer joy and pleasure to listen too!.
The green CHRYSALIS labels are in MINT- condition!!, beautifully clean and factory fresh, no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear, beautiful labels!!!.
The vinyl is housed in it's original white inner sleeve and in EX condition, only some small writing top right hand corner, (catalogue number and a few numbers), other than that, no other unwanted writing, their are no seam splits, on the back (bottom right) their is 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' printed in black and 'PATENT NOS. 1,125,555' printed in black bottom left hand corner
