JETHRO TULL - A LITTLE LIGHT MUSIC - 1992 GREEK 2LP - NEW
This a mint/unplayed and rare Greek double LP release of Jethro Tull's 1992 live album "A Little Light Music". Tracklisting: Disc 1, Side 1: Some Day The Sun Won't Shine For You; Living In The Past; Life Is A Long Song; Under Wraps; Disc 1, Side 2: Rocks On The Road; Nursie; Too Old To Rock And Roll, Too Young To Die; One White Duck; A New Day Yesterday; Disc 2, Side 3: John Barleycorn (Featuring George Dalaras, Vocals); Look Into The Sun; A Christmas Song; From A Dead Beat To An Old Greaser; Disc 2, Side 4: This Is Not Love; Bourée; Pussy Willow; Locomotive Breath. As you know, these songs are recorded live at various locations in Europe & elsewhere in May 1992.
This double LP was released in 1992 in Greece on the Chrysalis Records Ltd. label, catalogue number 0946 3 21957 1 5, made in Italy, printed by Grafica Pozzoli S.p.a., Inzago, and distributed by EMI. It features George Dalaras, a popular Greek artist, on vocals on "John Barleycorn"; the other releases of this double LP only have the vocals by Ian Anderson on this song; it was very unique to make this difference and a good marketing trick to re-promote Jethro Tull on the Greek music market.
This double album is still sealed in its original plastic; on the top left is a black round sticker with Greek information; another red round sticker mentions that George Dalaras is featured on "John Barleycorn" (see pictures). Both these LP's have never seen daylight! There are no nicks, stains, writing or any other defects on the sleeve, it is brand new.
It is a nice live performance and a very rare release, and you won't find another one in this new condition!!
