And now for the description:
Very rare and unique French test-pressing version of Jethro Tull's "A Passion Play" album.
I have included lots of photos in this auction so as to offer you the chance to form a better idea of the item. As you can see there are handwritten details plus stamped dates on both labels. Also included with the record are the papers from the pressing plant with all relevant details on them. On one of the sheets there are also some hand-written notes in the French language (could be by the sound engineer or the label manager or perhaps the marketing department - I don't know French so I cannot translate what is written, I leave that up to you). This record was bought by me personally in Paris, France when I was there on vacation some years ago.
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a magnificent Jethro Tull collectable. The record shows normal signs of play, there are hairlines/scratches visible on the surface but the sound reproduction is not affected. The sheets have yellowed a little but this is only normal for a 45-year old printed matter. Don't pass this up!
