Description

ORIGINAL Quadraphonic vinyl LP pressing -- JETHRO TULL - Aqualung - 1971 Reprise / 1974 Chrysalis Records USA - CH4 1044.  Original Chrysalis QuadraDisc (CD-4 channel discrete quadraphonic analog format) of this enduring classic album from Jethro Tull.  Fully compatible with conventional stereo systems -- will play back in stereo with a different mix than the standard stereo version of this title.  The last song, "Wind-up" is a completely different version than what appears on the original Reprise/Chrysalis stereo album.  This is the very first pressing of the quadraphonic edition of Aqualung (QUAD - 1A in the stamper matrix on both sides, located in the stamper matrix of the dead wax/trail-off vinyl).  LP in VG++ condition (equivalent to excellent on some grading scales) -- a few light surface marks, mostly just sleeve scuffs.  Labels are clean, but have tiny red dot stickers on both sides, possibly applied by the original owner (see photos).  Gatefold jacket/cover is graded as VG -- moderate ring wear on the back, moderate edge and corner wear, corner creases in two corners, a tiny tear/blemish near the top left side of the front and a tiny one inch paper split at the middle of the top edge (minor).  I am including a paper copy of the original lyric sheet from an original stereo Reprise album (see photos of double-sided 8 1/2" x 11" paper).  Enclosed in a poly outer sleeve.  Stored in a non-smoking environment.  Please ask questions if you are unclear about this or any of my other auctions.  Serious bidders only, please.  Thank you.  Shipping and careful packaging, including tracking is $3.50 for those located in the continental USA.  International bidders are welcome.  If you are outside the continental USA please ask for a shipping quote.  I can combine items to help save on shipping costs, so please wait for a shipping quote if you have won multiple titles.  I prefer payments via PayPal.  I will accept other forms of payment, if appropriate, at my discretion.  Please see my feedback so that you can bid with confidence.  I want you to be happy with your purchase!
