JETHRO TULL Aqualung UK LP CHR 1044 Stunning Archive MINT!

This LP is one of several Jethro Tull and Yes LP’s I am currently listing on ebay and the vast majority are in stunning MINT condition.  They are true archive examples of these great albums and it would be virtually impossible to find better copies than these anywhere.

JETHRO TULL ~ Aqualung .  Chrysalis CHR 1044.  Up for sale here is a slightly later 2nd pressing on the Blue and White Chrysalis Label with A//5 B//4 matrix.

This LP is part of a small collection of Tull LP’s where the condition is quite simply outstanding. It is rare that I can say this LP is as good as the day it left the factory” – but in this instance it is true!!!

Overall condition: MINT

Sleeve: MINT. 

The smooth outer sleeve is in fantastic mint condition.   All edges are razor sharp and unworn. The front and back covers have no marks, creases or damage of any consequence whatsoever. This sleeve is in phenomenal condition, as good as the day it was bought!!

Inner Sleeve: MINT

The Inner sleeve is a generic white inner.

Vinyl: (LP) NEAR MINT

The vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition.  The record looks to have had a maximum of about 5 or 6 plays and is in really fabulous condition.  Under bright halogen light I can just see around 5 small and very very feint hairline marks, which are incredibly light. The vinyl has a deep black gloss and is superbly clean and bright.  As close to MINT condition as you will ever find!!

Side A: CHR 1044 A//5 E420 1 3 6 

Side B: CHR 1044 B//4 E420 04  1 4

I inspect all records under a very bright halogen lamp that reveals all marks and wear and I make my grading based only on what is visible under these conditions. 

Labels: MINT

The  labels are in mint condition and are totally clean and unmarked

They are about the best condition LP’s from the 1970’s; 80’s and 90’s that I have ever come across.

Postage and Packing

All records have been placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s
