On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Jethro Tull called "Benefit" and is an ORIGINAL UK 1970 Chrysalis/Island 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Chrysalis/Island label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF JETHRO TULL'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF JETHRO TULL'S MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' & 'RAREST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  ONLY 1 BATCH OF THESE WERE EVER MADE LIKE THIS - AND THERE IS NO DOUBT AT ALL, THAT AS A 100% GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING (LIKE THIS ONE IS!), IT IS THE RAREST JETHRO TULL LP ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD TODAY!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN JUST HOW RARE THIS LP REALLY IS!!!!

FIRSTLY - IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DISCOUNT THE MANY OTHER VARIOUS PRESSINGS OF THIS LP (TO ELIMINATE LATER PRESSINGS AND AVOID ANY CONFUSION!).  FIRSTLY COPIES WITH 'SMOOTH' GREEN CHRYSALIS LABELS WITH NO 'ISLAND' TEXT (KNOWN AS '4TH PRESSINGS'), ARE MUCH LATER AND PRESSED AFTER 1972 (WHEN THE ISLAND TEXT WAS DROPPED FROM ALL CHRYSALIS PRESSINGS).  SECONDLY COPIES WITH 'PINK RIM' ISLAND 'PALM TREE' LABELS (KNOWN AS '3RD PRESSINGS'), ARE AGAIN MUCH LATER - AT LEAST 10 MONTHS AFTER THIS LP WAS RELEASED, AS THEY WEREN'T EVEN INVENTED(!) OR USED UNTIL EARLY 1971!!!!  MOST COPIES FROM AROUND THE RELEASE DATE (THOUGH TO EARLY 1971) WERE PRESSED WITH 'SMOOTH' CHRYSALIS LABELS WITH 'ADDED' ISLAND LABEL TEXT (KNOWN AS '2ND PRESSINGS') - AND THIS IS HOW MOST COPIES WERE SOLD IN THE SHOPS IN 1970.  HOWEVER - THIS LP IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, PRESSED WAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE - AND YOU SIMPLY CANNOT GET ANY 'EARLIER' OR RARER THAN THIS ONE!!!!  THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING IS EXACTLY LIKE ANY PREVIOUS LP PRESSED BY ISLAND (SUCH AS ILPS 9103 'STAND UP' FOR EXAMPLE), AND HAS 'DOUBLE THICKNESS' VINYL (MILES THICKER THAN ANY LATER PRESSING!), 'WHITE i' ISLAND LABEL TEXT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL - 'FULLY & HEAVILY' TEXTURED LABELS, EXACTLY LIKE ANY PREVIOUS ISLAND LP (SEE PICTURES!) !!!!  AND WITH THESE INCREDIBLE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DETAILS - IT MAKES THIS LP OF THE UTMOST RARITY - AS BARELY ANY WERE EVER MADE!!!!  ONLY 1 BATCH OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY, WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS - AND MAKES THIS LP THE RAREST & 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' CHRYSALIS/ISLAND LABELS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'DOUBLE THICKNESS' VINYL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'MacNEILL' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Chrysalis/Island UK 'Earliest' 1st pressing from 1970 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on MEGA THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ILPS 9123 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Chrysalis/Island label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'MacNeill' Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO visible edge wear, only some virtually INVISIBLE touching in traces to the VERY edges (though you have to look REALLY hard for this - and it is NOT immediately obvious!), NO spinal wear (PERFECT side words!), only VERY slight corner wear to 3 corners (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY small area of 'touching in' on 1 corner (top right on the cover front), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), only VERY slight rubbing, only 1 small 'catalogue' sticker in the top right corner of the cover front (which looks perfectly original - but it is always hard to know for certain), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, only VERY slight rubbing, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better - and despite the detail mentioned above, it is certainly still VERY presentable indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
