1970/Cdn/Reprise 6400…..here’s a gorgeous original factory Sealed pressing of their 3rd lp. This appears to be an original pressing with the back cover paste on and correct vintage blue printing on the back slick at the bottom, and of course no bar code, it’s very solid and pretty much non flexable like later pressings were. This is a seriously superb copy with two 1” breaks in the shrink at the opening on the lower section, this perfectly flat copy remains tightly Sealed with square corners and no splits or delete! A TOP copy for any music collection! There are some reflections on the cover from the camera flash. Please check my auctions for other rock and psych lp’s. Good Luck and thanks for looking!

Benefit is the third album by Jethro Tull. It was released in April 1970. It was the first album to include pianist and organist John Evan (although he was not yet considered a regular member of the group), and the last to include bass guitarist Glenn Cornick. It reached #3 in the UK album charts.

The album has more hard rock than its predecessor, Stand Up. Several of the tracks make greater use of tape-manipulation techniques than the groups's earlier recordings. There is, for example, backward flute on "With You There To Help Me" and backward piano and sped up guitar on "Play In Time".
